Norwich Union Invest ment Funds is offering six Socially Responsible funds next month. The range will comprise a corporate bond, UK equity growth, global growth, European growth, balanced and absolute growth funds.u Six funds have been upgraded to AAA status after Standard & Poor&#39s Fund Services&#39 review of the South-east Asian sector. They are Fleming Funds Asian opportunities, Henderson Horizon Pacific, Henderson Pacific capital growth and JF Eastern trust, Schroders world markets and S&P South-east Asian.

Close Brothers Inv estment is offering a VCT from December 15. The technology & general VCT will invest 50 per cent in technology companies, of which 20 per cent will be in international quoted tech stocks and 30 per cent unquoted UK tech companies. The remainder will be inves ted in unquoted companies in UK non-tech sectors.

John Hayes has been appointed assistant director and senior fund manager of Foreign & Colonial&#39s UK equity desk. He joins from Morley Fund Management.

Britannic Asset Management is setting up four global sector funds. They are global financials, global healthcare, global technology and global resources and will go live on March 5.
