Skandia has added eight funds to its multi-Isa, multiPep and multifund wrappers, including four from ABN Amro, which joins the platform for the first time. ABN Amro&#39s UK growth, UK equity Income, select opportunities and high-income funds will all be available though the service from June 1, as well as Aberdeen&#39s progressive growth, Baring&#39s leading sectors, Gart-more&#39s UK & Irish sma-ller companies and Framlington&#39s New Leaders funds.

Edinburgh Fund Managers has appointed Loral Quinn as IFA marketing executive. Loral joins EFM from Standard Life Investments where she worked in corporate pensions. She will be responsible for co-ordinating the marketing activities of both EFM and subsidiary Northern Venture Managers.

Gartmore has app-ointed Tim Callaghan as portfolio manager of its European equity team. He joins from Morley Fund Management.

Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has launched a global alternative energy fund to add to its Mercury selected trust range. The new Luxemburg-based Sicav will invest in companies pioneering change in the alternative energy sector.
