Cofunds has appointed Rodney Aldridge as head of sales. He joins the fund supermarket from Threadneedle, where he managed third-party distribution. He will head a sales team of 20 and will be responsible for the sale of Cofunds' services to the intermediary and fund manager marketplaces.
Aberdeen Asset Management is offering a 1 per cent discount on its technology unit trust to capitalise on any redemptions from the Henderson global technology fund. The discount will reduce the fund's front-end charge to 4.25 per cent from 3.25 per cent and is available until the end of the year.
