The mandates come from SATRA Technology Centre, Gotaas-Larsen and the Armed Forces Common Investment Fund.

SATRA Technology Centre selected Thames River multi-manager to help manage part of its pension funds and has invested across a number of funds within the multi-manager range.

Gotaas-Larsen has also invested in Thames River’s cautious managed, equity managed and global boutiques funds for its UK pension fund.

BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited has appointed Rob Burdett and Gary Potter to work on behalf of the Armed Forces Common Investment Fund to manage a UK equity multi-manager segregated mandate.

The Armed Forces Common Investment Fund is exclusively for Armed Forces charities in the UK and provides professionally-managed investment management and administration service to those charities.

Thames River multi-manager co-head Burdett says: “We are pleased to have won these institutional segregated mandates and aim to provide a diverse range of top-performing funds. Our experience and consistent performance track record puts us in a strong position to manage institutional fund assets.”
