Tessas go on the road

HSBC is running a series of national IFA seminars focusing on its core funds and opportunities for Tessa rollovers.

The seminars begin this week, will cover the length and breadth of the UK. They will aim to brief IFAs on the strategies behind HSBC&#39s UK income & growth and European growth funds.

The main thrust of the seminars will be to educate advisers on the possibilities for the £16bn worth of Tessas which will come to maturity next year.

HSBC is offering a Tessa-only Isa, which gives investors the chance to shelter an extra £9,000 from tax. IFAs will be offered 2 per cent commission on each sale.
