Tenet group brands director Mike O’Brien is taking on the role of group regulatory director after Gill Davidson leaves the business next month.
O’Brien joined Tenet in 2009 as RDR programme director.
He says: “Mifid II, the Financial Advice Market Review, Brexit and the consolidation of guidance services are but a few of the major issues the sector will have to tackle and I am looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
Tenet has also announced three appointments to the Tenet board. Business systems head Martin Garside is appointed IT director, relationship management head Steve Jones is confirmed as adviser relationship director and compliance head Mark Thomas is named compliance delivery director.
Tenet Group chief executive Martin Greenwood says: “These appointments will help take the business to the next level, where we shall continue to focus on providing quality financial advice that results in positive customer outcomes.”
