Tenet’s LIME establishes franchise with Point Five Estate Agents

Tenet’s non-investment network Lifetime Insurance Mortgage Experts has established a franchise with Point Five Estate Agents.

Point Five Estate Agents was formed to provide a low cost online solution to buying or selling a home.

It operates in a “virtual” web environment – removing the requirement for a high street presence and allows clients to view rooms and gardens in a property for sale from the comfort of their PC.

Franchisees buy the right to develop their own business in a defined geographical area, with a guarantee of no other Point Five Estate Agents competitor in that area, along with all the tools, training and support to run their business.

Tenet distribution & development director Keith Richards comments: “We have already received a lot of interest from members, who see this opportunity as complimentary to their existing business model and client base. Since the credit crunch, many brokers have seen enquiries for new mortgages fall and are looking for ways to both secure new business and open potential income streams.

“Although many large, traditional high street Estate Agents are reporting a downturn in business due to a combination of external factors, most would admit that this could also be related to the public’s increasing use of the internet and a desire to drive down cost. With much lower overheads than the traditional Estate Agent, Point Five franchisees can pass on these savings to their clients at a time when value is key.”

Gary Boyack of Northumbrian Wealth Management, a LIME member who recently purchased the franchise for the Gateshead area adds: “One of my key motivations was to be able to offer clients a ‘one stop shop’. I found the training very comprehensive and the support from Point Five is both friendly and professional.”
