Tenet makes finance director and financial planning head redundant

Tenet has made finance director Mark Youngman and head of financial planning services Jackie Ison redundant.

A note sent out to Tenet members from managing director Mike O’Brien said the decision had been made because the group had “up-scaled and up-skilled” resources within the business.

Ison has been with Tenet since September 2011 after joining from Aviva where she was head of marketing platforms and pensions. Youngman has been with Tenet since January 2008.

O’Brien says: “This decision was not taken lightly and we continue to put client service at the top of our agenda in this challenging period of regulatory change.

“I would like to take the opportunity to thank Jackie and Mark for their hard work whilst at Tenet and to wish them all the best for the future.”

In February, Tenet appointed Helen Turner as distribution and development director and appointed two new directors in a restructure.

The restructure came after Keith Richards announced he was to leave Tenet to joint the Personal Finance Society as chief executive.

Tenet appointed Caroline Bradley as group finance director in January.

There are 3 comments at the moment, we would love to hear your opinion too.

  1. Why are all these changes going on at the Tenet Group?
It seems they have some problems at the moment,
could they be in some sort of trouble.
I wonder if the share holders know about what is going on?

  2. It will be interesting to observe how making Jackie redundant translates into “up-skilling”.

  3. Don’t know Jackie but I guess a casualty of a new focus. Mark will be missed but unfortunately only now he has gone…….
