Tenet chairman Lord Robin Hodgson of Astley Abbotts has stepped down from the board amid a restructure which sees interim chief executive Martin Greenwood become executive chairman.
The restructure also sees TenetConnect and TenetSelect managing director Mike O’Brien appointed as group brands director.
Martin Greenwood says: ‘The board extends its thanks to Robin for his time, energy and advice whilst chairman and wishes him well in his endeavours. Mike O’Brien has been with the group for nearly two and a half years and his appointment to the group board is well deserved.”
Greenwood’s role as executive chairman will incorporate all duties carried out by former chief executive Simon Hudson.
In November, Tenet stated that Greenwood would not be appointed as a permanent replacement for Hudson but says he has reconsidered his position.
Tenet distribution and development director Keith Richards says: “As Tenet has carried on its focus on building the business, Martin felt keen to stay involved and take on the role on long-term basis.”
Tenet says it is also set to appoint two new independent non-executive directors.
