Tenet buys employee benefits firm to launch corporate service

Keith Richards 480

Tenet Group has acquired The Employee Benefit Corporation to launch its own employee benefits arm.

Tenet Employee Benefit Solutions will aim to help advisers develop and carry out a corporate proposition and will be aimed at small businesses.

Tenet says its EB arm has designed a series of solutions to aid advisers through service processes, propositions development, pension reform audit, project management and administration for up and running schemes.

TEBS will also cover group risk, group private medical insurance and flexible benefits schemes.

Support across an insurance-backed human resources service, incorporating employment law, health and safety and staff contracts is also under development.

Tenet distribution and development director Keith Richards (pictured) says: “ The corporate sector is something many advisers want to prosper in, but do not necessarily have the expertise or systems to enable them to do so. With pension reform just around the corner, we felt this was the perfect time for us to provide them with an end-to-end holistic employee benefits scheme.”
