Teachers BS poaches Financial Limited finance director

Angela Evans joined Teachers Building Society this month

Teachers Building Society has appointed Financial Ltd group finance director Angela Evans as finance and operations director.

Evans had been in her role at the national IFA since March 2010 and was previously divisional director at Chelsea Building Society.

Her position at Teachers will cover IT, customer experience, sales and finance. Financial is currently looking for a replacement.

Teachers Building Society chief executive James Bawa says: “Angela’s appointment is a key element of our intermediary growth strategy and her new role is designed to incorporate the operational areas including information technology, customer experience and finance as well as sales.”

Money Marketing revealed in November compliance director Steve Bell was leaving the firm as part of a management reshuffle.

Financial replaced Bell with ex-Nationwide head of regulatory risk oversight Richard Warrington in December.
