Talbot and Muir’s Claire Trott exits


Talbot and Muir head of pensions technical Claire Trott is leaving the Sipp and SSAS provider.

Trott is leaving to join technical support services firm Technical Connection.

Director of administration Paul Darvill is to take over as head of pensions technical with immediate effect, alongside heading up the administration unit.

Talbot and Muir director Graham Muir says: “Paul Darvill joined Talbot and Muir 21 years ago and has worked through the business during that time, gaining considerable knowledge and technical expertise in the SSAS and SIPP sectors.

“His role, which includes overseeing SSAS and Sipp administration, will now also include the technical team. He is well known to the advisers and professional services firms that we deal with day to day.”

He adds: “Paul will take over the running of the technical team with immediate effect and of course we wish Claire well in her new role.”

Technical Connection joint managing director Tony Wickenden says: “We have known Claire for a while, and it’s great news that she is coming to work with us.

“Claire understands things from a technical perspective, but also has the ability to clearly explain and articulate technical content, which is a combination you don’t often come across.

“We look forward to her joining and helping us provide a great service to our clients.”
