Synaptic signs up as sponsor for IFP

The Institute of Financial Planning has won further sponsorship.

The latest business to back the examination body is product research

information provider Synaptic Systems.

This sponsorship is intended to help increase the institute&#39s membership

and promote awareness of the finan- cial planning profession.

Synaptic will be supporting marketing and special project initiatives,

including development of the IFP&#39s website. It will also be offering IFP

members exclusive discounted offers on Synaptic&#39s product research online

services.

IFP chief executive Nick Cann says: “The IFP vision is to achieve the

recognition of the financial planning profession and it actively seeks

partners to assist it in achieving this objective. If there is an

opportunity to provide a member benefit as well, then we shall be only too

pleased to pass this on.”

The IFP has been confirmed as the sole UK affiliate of the International

Certified Financial Planner Councilfor the next three years.
