Symponia launches care fees recruitment service

Symponia is launching a care fees planning recruitment consultancy.

The firm says it is constantly being approached by advisers wanting to move their skill set to a more appreciative company and by advice firms wanting to grow or replace their teams.

The consultancy, Symponia Strato, will give IFA firms an initial consultation to define their needs then vacancies will be posted on the website and within Symponia’s own member intranet site. Advisers will go through a rigorous face-to-face interview.

The service will be available to all IFA firms and network regardless of size or location. It will operate a simple and transparent fee structure with discounted options available to Symponia members.

The consultancy’s website,, will list codes of conduct and helpful tips to candidates. It should go live in April.

Managing director Janet Davies says: “As Symponia grows in terms of both size and reputation, we are frequently being approached by both advisers wanting to join, and more recently by advisers wanting to leave their existing firms.

“This led us to the somewhat natural development of Symponia Strato. We are acutely aware that things within financial services never stay the same, change is seemingly constant and with that flux comes unsettlement the establishment of Symponia Strato enables us to complete the chain.”
