SWIP appoints Dickson to new European equity role

Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has appointed Kathleen Dickson to the newly created role of European equity product specialist.

Dickson will be the senior client-facing investment specialist for SWIP’s European equity and REIT funds.

She will be based in Edinburgh and report to head of European equities Nigel Bolton.

She was previously at Baillie Gifford for 16 years in the role of manager in the institutional clients department for pooled funds.

Bolton says: “Kathleen’s appointment reflects our commitment to providing a first class level of service and support to our European equity and real estate security fund clients. She brings a wealth of experience to the role which will be a valuable asset as we build on the success of our funds in the UK and international markets.”
