Sway recruits Cockerill for top 200 IFAs study

Sway Consulting has recruited former Chartwell Asset Management investment manager Tim Cockerill as consultant on its Senate Programme conference brand.

Cockerill will help develop Sway&#39s Senate Programme awards, which launch this year.

The awards aim to draw upon the investment opinions of the UK&#39s top 200 investment IFAs.

Sway will publish a study of the investment opinions, with analysis of buying patterns and trends.

Cockerill started his career at Hargreaves Lansdown in 1987 before moving to Whitechurch Securities in 1992 and Chartwell Asset Management in 2000.

Since leaving Chartwell, Cockerill has worked as an investment consultant for smaller IFA firms.

Sway chief executive Jon Maguire says: “We are delighted to have Tim working on this. Having worked with some of the UK&#39s leading IFAs for more than 15 years, primarily as an investment manager, his extensive investment knowledge and background are perfect for this project.”
