SVT NAV beats world index fall

The Scottish Value Trust has announced its year net asset value fell by 5.9 per cent compared to the FTSE World Index which fell 24.7 per cent.

It says it has a gearing ratio of 20 per cent and hedge funds now make up 28 per cent of the trust.

It will pay out an unchanged dividend of 12.5p a share in January.
