SVM links with Albany International

Fund management boutique Scottish Value Management is expanding its retail business in its first link up with a life office.


The Edinburgh-based investment house has linked up with Albany International and is in talks with two other life offices for similar arrangements.


The Albany International Individual Investment Bond is an off-shore bond available to UK investors. Initial commission for IFAs is up to 7 per cent. Renewal commission is 1 per cent.


The new fund has access to two of SVM&#39s Dublin-based funds its European Growth and UK Growth.


Since their launch in August 1993, the SVM&#39s UK and European Growth funds have returned 212 per cent and 311 per cent respectively.
