Survey says one third of borrowers are happy to go direct

A third of consumers are happy to arrange their mortgage through a direct lender, according to recent research by MAPA Management Consultants.


The survey also found only a third of those surveyed had actually heard of flexible mortgages, but those that did claimed they understood them fairly well.


Two thirds of those asked claim they would be interested in getting a flexible mortgage and 90 per cent found one or more of the features of a flexible mortgage were &#39very appealing&#39.
