Support US disaster fund

IFA Redcliffe Associates managing director Tony Gordon is calling for the UK financial services industry to lend its support to those affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks on the US.

The IFA is attempting to rally support from the financial services community following the tragic events in which around 100 British employees of financial services companies lost their lives.

Gordon is a past president of the Million Dollar Round Table, an organisation representing 25,000 financial services sales people worldwide and the MDRT is running a disaster relief fund from its headquarters in Park Ridge, Illinois.

The MDRT says it will match dollar for dollar the total contribution up to £100,000.

Gordon says: “In difficult times such as these, the professional services of our members are invaluable in the survival and healing of families and businesses. Through the MDRT fund, life offices, financial services professionals and friends of the industry can contribute to funds that will be applied directly to a variety of organisations supporting relief efforts in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania.”

Donations to the relief fund can be sent to the MDRT Disaster Relief Fund, 325 West Touhy Avenue, Park Ridge, Illonois 60068, or by credit card at www.mdrt.org
