Succession recruits marketing and relationship director

Succession Advisory Services has appointed Charles Evans as marketing and relationship director.

Evans joins Succession’s management board and reports to chief executive Simon Chamberlain.

Evans joins from HBOS/Clerical Medical, where he worked as head of business development. He will start his new role in October.

Evans says, “I am delighted to be joining Succession. The leadership team has a track record of innovation, quality service and an approach that distinguishes it from other financial services organisations. I look forward to contributing towards Succession’s development, growth, brand recognition and success.

“As RDR shifts the emphasis from transaction- based product distribution, Succession is already ahead of the curve in devising advice-led processes and technology. Its transition programme will totally reshape the way financial services are delivered in the UK.

Simon Chamberlain says: “Charles is a distribution specialist with an exemplary track record of managing business partnerships and maximising opportunities. Charles’s appointment underpins Succession’s commitment to working closely with distribution partners to grow and develop their businesses.

“IFAs are facing unprecedented change with fantastic opportunities. Under Charles’s direction, Succession will target specific resources to accelerate the transition of selected IFA firms.”
