Sub-prime lendertops 1bn

Sub-prime lender igroup says it has become the first non-conformist lender

to complete mortgage business over 1bn.

The company, formerly known as Ocwen UK, was launched in July 1998.

Chief executive officer Joseph Dlutowski says: “The whole sector is

enjoying huge growth because ourselves and other lenders offer innovative

and affordable products that are attractive to people, many of them

professionals, who operate outside the credit scoring criteria set by

high-street banks and building societies.”
