Standard Life to cut 37 jobs in marketing

Standard Life is the latest firm to announce job cuts.

The insurer confirmed it will be making 37 of its 400-strong marketing department redundant by the spring in a drive to “refocus” its marketing push.

A spokesman says: “The job cuts are part of our drive to refocus our marketing push. We have no plans to make cuts in other areas of the company.”
