Standard Life has revealed further pricing details on the discounted fund deals it has secured through its platform, with fund discounts of up to 0.57 per cent.
Following negatiations with fund groups, the company has agreed preferential terms on 291 funds. Of those, 198 mutual funds are offered at a discount while the other 93 funds will be made available through Standard Life insured funds feeding into underlying funds.
Some funds have a discounted annual management charge while others have a reduced total expense ratio. The average discount is 14 basis points.
The insured range includes 13 funds from Vanguard, 11 M&G funds, three Aberdeen funds, two Cazenove funds, two Investec funds, and one Threadneedle fund. The remainder are Standard Life and Standard Life Investments funds.
Standard calculates the discounts on an ongoing charges basis. In the insured range discounts span from 0.01 per cent on the Cazenove Strategic Bond fund to 0.57 per cent on the Standard Life MyFolio Managed V Pension Fund.
The discounted mutual fund list includes funds from Invesco, Old Mutual, Standard Life Investments, Schroders, Threadneedle, Neptune and Liontrust. Discounts on SLI funds are up to 0.225 per cent while two Old Mutual funds are discounted by 0.2 per cent.
