Standard Life launches workplace employee benefits portal

Standard Life has launched a workplace benefits portal offering employees a choice of pension and non-pension benefits.

The tool, called Lifelens, allows employees to access a range of savings options, flexible benefits, online payslips, total reward statements, planning and modelling tools, product collateral and educational material.

Standard Life managing director of corporate solutions Gerry O’Neill says six clients have signed up to use the tool this year. Standard Life itself will be among the first adopters, with a launch date set for May, 2011.

O’Neill says: “It is really exciting that Lifelens will put our own people in genuine control of their savings and employee benefits and be the portal that helps them shape their financial futures.”

Nothing new, the US have been doing this for over 10 years.
If you want this technology without the costs that Standard Life paid then just search on my name.
