Standard Life enhances estate planning service for advisers

Standard Life is enhancing its estate planning offering with the appointment of Ian Mobley as senior technical consultant.

Mobley will be responsible for technical estate planning presentations in the nationals and networks distribution channel. He will also cover sessions on tax planning, pensions and investment.

Commenting on his appointment Mobley says: “At Standard Life the estate planning proposition is about so much more than selling trusts. It is about helping advisers understand this complex area so they can offer a more holistic estate planning service to their clients.”

Standard Life has also enhanced its online support for estate planning with the launch of a new adviser micro site. Here, advisers can access general literature, market comment, technical briefing cards and the AskTech question and answer facility.
