Stakeholder and IPAs in expansion plan

Cofunds is looking to expand its service to offer IFAs stakeholder and individual pension accounts.

Chief executive Sam Jen sen says the platform would be ideal for such products although he could not say when Cofunds would be able to offer them. Head of sales Rodney Ald ridge says: “We are producing an admin platform thr ough which to buy funds and I guess that funds will be part of many wrappers such as stakeholder and IPAs.”

Gartmore head of retail pensions Nick Hodges says: “Gartmore will not be a stakeholder provider but we will provide for asset management firms that want to be stakeholder providers. We will look at IPAs and will work alongside Cofunds to see how we can best provide products.”
