St James's Place is expanding its regional centres by opening its first office in Northern Ireland.
The Belfast office is opening with 11 partners from the St James's Place Partnership. This will be St James's 21st regional office in the UK.
Northern Ireland's minister for enterprise trade and investment Sir Reg Empey was due to open the office on March 21 alongside the company's chairman, Sir Mark Weinberg.
The office will be headed by Gerry Moore, who joins St James's from Allied Dunbar where he was a regional director. He has 15 years experience in the industry.
Weinberg says: “The move into Northern Ireland reflects our positive view of the province and the optimism felt by the business world about the business opportunities that exist there. Gerry has a wealth of experience and we are delighted to have him on board.”
