Marketing manager Ian Thomas tried his best to explain the ins and outs of cricket and rugby so the ladies among them had at least a faint idea of what it was all about. But it did not really matter – the ladies on the table had plenty to occupy them anyway, with Andrew Flintoff and the lovely Healey himself to gaze at.
