The financial services arm of property group Spicerhaart is to join Sesame.
Spicerhaart’s mortgage arm Mortgages Direct will rebrand as Spicerhaart Financial Services and will provide mortgage, protection and general insurance advice and products across Sesame’s agency network.
Spicerhaart Financial Services has 65 advisers and plans to increase that to 90 by the end of this year.
The deal follows Sesame buying Bankhall and PMS last month, which saw the creation of the Sesame Bankhall Group.
Sesame sales and marketing director Stephen Young says: “We continue to build our position as the intermediary market leader of choice and this move by Spicerhaart is testament to the strength of our propositions, our people and the support we provide to advisory firms.”
Spicerhaart group chief executive Paul Smith says: “We have enjoyed a strong relationship with Sesame and its lending partners for some time and we believe the time is right to enrich this further by becoming an appointed representative of the UK’s biggest network.”
