Specialist property asset manager launches

A new asset management firm has launched which will offer specialist and valuation services to the UK property market.

Asset 1st has been founded by Tony Ibson, Chris Finney, Angus Macnaughton and Graham McIntosh, all of whom have experience in the property, mortgage, financial services and valuation services sectors.

The firm says it will offer bespoke, technology driven solutions that will operate independently from the likes of estate agency groups. The group will choose and partner with particular firm’s based on area and property type.

Commercial director Graham McIntosh says: “The generally held view is that there will be an increase in repossessions in the UK following next year’s General Election. This being the case the asset management sector is undersupplied and there is an opportunity for new entrants such as Asset 1st to make an impact. Our offering will combine a personal service with leading edge technology, a proposition that is being extremely well received in our initial conversations.

“We will aim to realise the best possible price in the shortest possible timeframe. We will only ever work with a select group of clients and properties at any one time, ensuring the personal touch which our clients deserve to expect.”
