Software company sponsors IFP

Software specialist 1st Software is sponsoring the Institute of Financial Planning in support of its wealth-planning approach to financial advice.

The firm says it predicts a polarisation of the market between those providing financial advice and those offering financial planning, and for this reason it is offering support to the IFP which promotes fee based and professional qualifications.

IFP chief executive Nick Cann says: “We see technology as a vital tool to enable financial planner to run their businesses efficientloy and we are delighted 1ST has agreed to become a main sponsor.”
