Smith to take on M&G Asia

Aled Smith will take over management of the M&G Asian fund next month.

Smith, who manages the M&G global leaders and American fund, will assume control of the vehicle on 2 April from interim manager Neil MacKay

According to the firm, Smith is set to re-design the fund so it mirrors the style and philosophy of the American fund.

The group has also promoted analyst Stuart Rhodes to deputy manager on the American fund.
