Small Adviser of the Year: Investment Quorum

Small adviserof the year

This was always going to be a hard fought category, and this year was no exception with a record number of entries and eight firms making the final shortlist. In the end it was a battle between Investment Quorum and Capital Asset Management, with Investment Quorum crowned the winner.

The judges commended both firms as “outstanding”, but Investment Quorum took the top spot for the forward-looking approach the business takes in developing its advice model.

Judges liked the work the firm was doing on data visualisation, and its launch of a private client network. Investment Quorum was also commended for “putting something back into the industry”, and for its work in shaping and informing the adviser debate. Overall judges said the firm is “always striving to be better and to be different”.

Capital Asset Management was awarded highly commended for its move to a fixed-fee model, and an “impressive” client disclosure document.
