Skandia Protect putting quote system on CD-Rom

Skandia Protect has introduced a new system allowing IFAs to produce quotes using a CD-Rom.

It says the CD-Rom complements its online service by allowing IFAs to produce client-specific quotes at any time. It has been designed following a strong demand for an offline tool from IFAs.

The CD-Rom can produce quotes for life, critical illness and long-term care cover. Each quote can be tailored to a client&#39s needs for personal or business protection, inheritance tax or long-term care planning.

Skandia plans to update the quote system regularly and alert IFAs by email to any upgrades. Senior group marketing manager Lynda Cox says: “The quote disks will considerably cut costs for many IFAs. From January, IFAs can obtain a quote offline in just a few clicks. This does not replace the quotes we provide from our regional offices, it simply gives more choice in how to get quotes.”
