The PPI global vista life fund will offer investors exposure to global markets and is linked to five equally weighted funds.
Returns will be linked to the following funds: AXA Framlington emerging markets; Henderson European opportunities; Invesco perpetual global bond; M&G global basics and Schroder US smaller companies.
The new fund launched on 1st July with a unit price of 100p and is open for investment for six weeks through Skandia’s offshore portfolio bonds. It offers full capital protection plus 100 per cent of the quarterly averaged growth at maturity with an enhanced allocation of 104 per cent.
The fund has a fixed five and a half year term. On maturity, the client can choose to reinvest the final redemption value of the bond into an alternative investment choice.
Skandia International head of investment proposition Steve Ellis says: “This latest PPI offering replicates the successful format of previous versions but, by linking the investment returns to a basket of internationally flavoured funds, widens its appeal across our customer base.”
