Skandia first with reregistration

I read with interest that Fidelity is the second company to be offering IFAs reregistration facilities on its platform.

I am not so sure it is second. Skandia has been offering reregistration facilities (on our MultiFund product) for the past three years. Surely Fidelity and Cofunds are fighting over the second and third spots?

So, why have we not shouted about the service to win some PR plaudits? Quite simply, because not enough of the fund groups within the industry are offering a reregistration facility.

As 2002/03 unfolds, more groups will offer such a facility – and when they do, your readers will hear from us. In the meantime, is it worth marketing the car that has no wheels?

If any IFAs would like to know which groups offer the facility via the Skandia platform, please contact me or your local Skandia sales consultant.
