Skandia extending its multi-fund links

Skandia is expanding its multi-manager fund range with the addition of one

new fund manager and a total of 12 new funds.

It will link to Sarasin and introduce eight new funds to its MultiIsa,

MultiPep and MultiFund range and life and pensions products. A further four

new funds will be made available to its life and pension range.

The new funds are the Sarasin EquiSar global thematic, the Aberdeen

sterling bond, Fidelity MoneyBuilder income, Fidelity UK growth, M&G

corporate bond, M&G media and communications, M&G global financials and

Lazard UK alpha.

The Skandia UK dynamic fund, Merrill Lynch blue chip, Merrill Lynch income

and Lazard European alpha are only available on life and pensions.

Skandia believes Sarasin&#39s thematic fund provides an investment strategy

that is not dependent on one region or market.

The Lazard funds are the first Lazard funds to join Skandia&#39s life and

pension products. Lazard hopes to gain from Skandia&#39s IFA distribution

platform.

Skandia investment brand manager Phil Morse says: “These new funds

represent our quest for quality fund management and I feel confident IFAs

will welcome the addition.Skandia&#39s aim is to offer quality funds that are

consistently available across all our products and we continually review

our fund range.”
