Skandia adds new benchmarking tools to wrap service

Skandia has added new benchmarking tools to its U-Skan reporting service on SkandiaWrap.

The bespoke benchmark feature will allow advisers to create their own benchmarks, against which individual funds or portfolios can be measured.

Advisers will now be able to draw from the universe of all UK funds, including unit trusts, Oeics, life and pensions products, ABI and IMA sector averages and a large range of indices to construct and save their own bespoke benchmarks.

The new adviser fund index from Financial Express will also be included as a benchmarking tool.

Skandia e-business manager Alison Everett says: “We are always looking for ways to enhance our e-business tools and services and this is the latest in a line of exciting developments.

The benchmarking feature really strengthens the usefulness of U-Skan as it allows advisers to look, not just at Skandia funds, but also at all other funds in the UK alongside sectors and indices – over 20,000 of them altogether.”
