Cornish also served as a member of the FSA Practitioner Panel from 2007 to 2011 and became chairman in 2009.

Current SJP non-executive directors Michael Sorkin and Derek Netherton will retire from the board with effect from 31 December, 2011.

SJP chairman Mike Wilson says: “I am delighted to welcome Iain to the board of SJP as an independent non-executive director. Iain brings with him considerable board and senior management experience.”
