Sinfonia Asset Management appoints head of sales

Sinfonia Asset Management has appointed Tim Barker as head of sales.

Barker will be responsible for promoting the company’s multi-manager proposition through its team of regional sales managers and will report to Sinfonia managing director Andy Richards.

Barker has more than 25 years’ experience in financial services. He was previously key account director at The Hartford. Before that, he held senior positions at AXA, including key account director and head of bancassurance.

Richards says: “Tim brings a wealth of experience to the business and will help take us to the next stage of our whole of market development programme, working specifically with non-Tenet-related IFAs.”

Stellar Asset Management has teamed up with specialist technology manager Accretion Capital to create an enterprise investment scheme fund that will provide expansion capital to unquoted UK technology companies.
