SimplyBiz’s mortgage director joins Countrywide

Countrywide has appointed former SimplyBiz Mortgages director of mortgages Emma Hollingworth as an account director within its corporate business division.

She will commence her new role in January and replaces Kharla Mullen, who after three years within corporate business has been promoted into the new role of head of central operations within Countrywide Surveying Services.

Hollingworth will join Sally Young and Richard Beardshaw as the divisions three account directors, working with Countrywide’s corporate client base reporting into Guy Batchelor, managing director of Countrywide Corporate Business.

Batchelor, says: “We are delighted to have Emma on board. 2012 is another important year for Countrywide and with her wealth of experience in the mortgage sector. Emma will be an integral part of the Corporate Business team providing us with new impetus to build on the success of the last three years.”

As part of the newly created board position as head of central operations, Mullen will have overall responsibility for customer services and panel management operations.

Countrywide’s corporate business division is responsible for managing the sales and marketing functions for the Countrywide Group by promoting its asset management, auctions, conveyancing, LPA receivership, valuation and surveying services to corporate customers and lenders.
