SimplyBiz host IHT webcast

SimplyBiz and Zurich Intermediary Group are co-hosting a webcast by Technical Connections director Tony Wickenden to provide an exclusive presentation on post-Budget IHT planning.

Technical Connections experts will also be involved in a live chat, held on the SimplyBiz website allowing member firms to ask questions on the presentation.

Wickenden will give insights into IHT planning including the issue of flexibility where he looks at the potential charging points that need to be considered, the use of bare trust combinations and the Rysaffe Rule, which could help diminish risk.

Wickenden points out that the need for informed advice has increased by these changes to the rules following the Budget.

Zurich intermediary marketing director Tony Solomon says: “We are delighted to be sponsoring this initiative. We are always looking for new ways of working together with experts in the industry and giving advisers easy access to information on the issues that directly affect them and their clients.

“Feedback on the use of this medium has exceeded all expectations and we are looking forward to developing similar projects with all of our strategic partners in the future.
