SimplyBiz appoints non-exec director

SimplyBiz has appointed Tim Trotter to the board as a non-executive director.

Trotter has been working with the support firm over the last six months as an adviser to the business, assisting with the acquisition of Staffcare

He is currently chairman of Glenfern, Alpha FMC, Seven Publishing and The SR Group.

SimplyBiz chairman Ken Davy says: “Tim brings a wealth of experience, enthusiasm and ideas to the board, which will prove hugely beneficial as we continue to assist the firms we serve to maximize the opportunities in a changing market. His values and vision are strongly aligned with those of the group and I look forward to building upon the work we have already begun during his time acting in an advisory capacity.”

Trotter says: “I have long been impressed by the size and strength of SimplyBiz and its position as a leading player in the financial services market.  The recent acquisition of Staffcare has further enhanced the group’s potential, adding to the range of services provided.”
