Simon Foster to head Zurich Corporate Pensions

Zurich Financial Services has appointed Simon Foster to the position of head of Zurich Corporate Pensions.

Foster will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the business, helping to deliver ZCP’s growth strategy and strengthening relationships with key intermediaries and corporate customers.

He will report to chief growth officer UK Life David Etherington and head of corporate life and pensions Hanno Mijer.

Foster joined Zurich in 1991 and has held positions in actuarial, finance and marketing operations at the firm.

In 2004 he was appointed to the role of proposition management and development director, responsible for product development, new business profitability and marketing for Zurich’s pensions, protection and investment product range.

Etherington says: “I am delighted that Simon is to lead the Zurich Corporate Pensions business. He has the right combination of skills and experience to help us achieve our ambitious growth plans in this vital strategic market for Zurich.”
