Shake-up at Misys strengthens expansion of networks

Super-network and software giant Misys has made a ser ies of management


changes aimed at consolidating expansion of its IFA networks.


It says the changes will provide a platform for future development.


A number of the appointments are at the recently formed Misys IFA Services


which is designed to supp ort the company&#39s networks Countrywide, Financial


Options Group and Kestrel.


Misys IFA Services will also absorb the recently acquired ie group which


owns IFA Network.


Misys now has over 4,000 registered individuals, making it the dominant


network.


Chief executive of the company&#39s insurance division, Ivan Martin, now also


becomes IFA Services managing director. The other Misys IFA Services board


members are sales and marketing director Max Wright, commercial director


Rick Francis and financial director Kevin Budge. All come from within the


Misys group.


Former Financial Options sales and marketing director Andrew Bedford


becomes Misys IFA services head of marketing.


Countrywide&#39s new man- aging director is Tony Wood, previously of Zifa.


Former Financial Options joint managing director Ron Leith is its only


managing director and former Countrywide head of sales development Jonathan


White is made membership director of Kestrel.
