Sesame to take on Premier Network Group appointed reps

Sesame is set to take on mortgage network Premier Network Group’s remaining 37 appointed representative firms.

The announcement was made at a meeting called for PNG’s AR’s yesterday in Derby.

Sales and marketing director Paul Fisher confirmed the transfer, but would not comment further.

In February this year PNG announced plans to become a top five mortgage network by the start of 2009.

A Sesame spokesman says: “We can confirm that we are currently in talks with Premier Network Group and we expect to conclude those discussions in the near future, at which point we will be happy to comment further.”


libor spread still too high for lenders

Three-month Libor has dropped to 3.13 per cent, a fall of 75 basis points since the start of the month. Mortgage lenders welcome the drop but say the 1.13 per cent spread is still too much to improve rates drastically.
