Sesame reshuffles PMS and Bankhall after takeover

Sesame Bankhall Group has appointed David Golder as managing director of Bankhall and John Malone as chairman of PMS after the acquisition of the firm by Sesame.

Nick Kelly has been appointed Sesame managing director, taking on responsibility for network customer service in addition to his development role and Sesame managing director for mortgages and general insurance John Cupis has been appointed managing director of PMS.

Golder, who was Bankhall managing director for IFA services, takes overall responsibility for developing and delivering support services for directly regulated advisory firms and Malone will continue to lead the development of PMS. Sesame compliance director Michael Couzens will oversee compliance for the group while Sesame finance director Mark Wadeli will now head finance at both businesses. The pair will join the Sesame Bankhall board.

Mark Penton has been appointed to the new position of director of Sesame Bankhall’s retail distribution implementation project.

Chief operating officer Stephen Young says: “Bankhall, Sesame and PMS will each have a dedicated operating board to ensure they have the resources to be able to focus on the needs of the customers that they serve.”
