Sesame Bankhall Group has appointed Avelo head of financial planning and wealth management James Stevenson as head of adviser technology.

Stevenson will help develop the adviser technology which underpins Sesame’s new investment and adviser services, including design and implemen-

This team will work with Iress UK to deliver the service.

Sesame chief executive George Higginson (pictured) says: “We are investing in a valuable new services and that includes recruiting experts with the knowledge to ensure that advisers and their clients reap the full benefit from these new developments.”

Stevenson says: “The solution from Iress will be a real differentiator and brings a unique blend of breadth and depth of functionality across front, middle and back office. It will give advisers the ability to automate many repetitive activities, ensuring consistency of advice and lower operational costs.”
