Selestia starts up online distribution channel for IFAs

Selestia is hoping to attract more IFAs by setting up an online distribution channel with phone support.

The firm hopes to use its new Adviser Direct distribution arm as a means to raise its brand awareness among the IFA community.

It hopes to appeal to IFAs which are interested in its proposition but would rather communicate online or over the phone.

Selestia’s distribution is presently carried out predominantly through a team of sales managers who create partnerships with advisers on a regional basis. The firm says it will continue to operate with this as the cornerstone.

Adviser Direct will use Web-Ex technology, which allows Adviser Direct’s support team, led by David Tas-ker, to control advisers’ computers remotely and take them through the Selestia platform in real time.

Selestia is offering IFAs a 10-minute presentation at their desks at a time of their choosing. It is also running a series of web seminars to support the launch.

Sales and marketing director Bill Vasilieff says: “This is a new and exciting venture for us, a vital component of which is the use of technology to widen our distribution capability. Adviser Direct will inc-rease our reach in terms of adviser firms and will help us to build on our past successes, generating greater brand awareness.”
